Course description: If you’re under 18, love doing nails, and want to learn how to do things properly — this workshop is perfect for you.
This one-day experience is designed to give you a real introduction to the nail industry, allowing you to try things out and decide if it’s something you’d like to pursue in the future.
My accredited, professional courses are available to students aged 16+ and lead to recognised, insurable qualifications. This workshop is designed as an introduction for those 18 and under — giving them the opportunity to learn correctly, build confidence, and get a real feel for the industry before progressing onto professional training in the future.
Rather than learning through trial and error, you’ll be guided step by step to develop correct techniques from the very beginning — helping you avoid bad habits and start your nail journey the right way.
During the workshop, you will:
• Learn correct nail preparation and hygiene
• Work with professional products in a safe and controlled way
• Practice gel polish application
• Explore BIAB basics
• Gain both theory knowledge and hands-on practical experience
No previous experience is required — this workshop is completely beginner-friendly.
All products needed for the training are provided on the day, and students will work on their own hand (no model required).
At the end of the workshop, students will receive a digital Certificate of Completion and a €30 voucher to use towards any future professional course at The Nail Place.
Please note, this is not a professional qualification and is intended for educational and hobby purposes only.
What you need to bring:
Notebook & pen for note taking
Good energy! 🥰
*Please note: a few days before the workshop, you will be contacted via text message on the number provided at booking to confirm attendance, the course start time etc.
Terms & conditions:
Age Restrictions:
This workshop is suitable for those aged 12 to 18.
Course Schedule:
All courses are subject to demand. In the unlikely event that a course or workshop does not obtain the necessary numbers in order to initially run, applicants will receive a full refund or the opportunity to change their application to the next time that course runs.
In the rare event that a course structure must be changed or amended, students will be given notice. The training centre reserves the right to change course dates, times and duration at its own discretion and where it feels necessary.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel a course booking, you must do so no later than 10 days before the course start date, otherwise the deposit payment will not be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled less than 10 days before the course date. This is also the case for any “no-show” attendances. It is the students responsibility to remember their course dates and times and contact the course provider within the given time if something has changed for them.
